English text:
Since 2022, Stiwdio Dyfi has been dedicated to delivering high-impact, value-for-money projects that are fully driven by the local community. Our mission is to improve the lives of people in Machynlleth and the surrounding area by working directly with them to create grassroots initiatives that address their needs and priorities.
Our work focuses on empowering individuals, strengthening community bonds, and creating opportunities for personal and collective growth. Thanks to the support of our funders, we have been able to make a tangible difference by facilitating projects that are meaningful, sustainable, and locally led.
Delivering Value Through Community Projects
Over the past two years, we have successfully launched and delivered a number of impactful initiatives, including:
- A Youth Club, providing a welcoming space for young people up to the age of 18 to socialise, learn, and connect with peers.
- A Local Radio Station, offering both entertainment and hands-on learning in broadcasting, production, and public speaking.
- A Community Cinema, giving people a regular opportunity to come together for shared experiences and conversations.
- A Community Fashion Show, showcasing local talent and bringing people together in a celebration of creativity and collaboration.
- A Filmmaking Cooperative, allowing local individuals to learn new skills, work on collaborative projects, and share their stories.
We are now working on our latest initiative to support young adults aged 18 to 29, offering them similar opportunities for social engagement, skill-building, and community involvement, tailored specifically to their age group and interests.
Focusing on What Matters Most
Our work is driven by the belief that the most effective projects come from the community itself. Rather than imposing top-down solutions, we engage directly with local people to understand their needs and empower them to lead initiatives that reflect their priorities. Whether it’s providing safe spaces for young people, helping residents develop new skills, or fostering social connections, our focus is always on creating practical, people-led solutions.
Our funders share this vision—they aren’t simply looking for projects, but for initiatives that deliver real outcomes, improve quality of life, and help build a stronger, more connected community.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, we remain committed to working with the people of Machynlleth and the surrounding area to develop initiatives that make a difference. From youth engagement to dedicated spaces for young adults, our goal is to continue delivering value-driven projects that support both individuals and the wider community.

Fersiwn Gymraeg:
Ers 2022, mae Stiwdio Dyfi wedi bod yn ymrwymedig i gyflwyno prosiectau effaith uchel, sy’n werth am arian ac yn cael eu harwain gan y gymuned leol yn llwyr. Ein cenhadaeth yw gwella bywydau pobl yn Machynlleth a’r ardal gyfagos drwy weithio’n uniongyrchol gyda nhw i greu mentrau gwreiddiau sy’n mynd i’r afael â’u hanghenion a’u blaenoriaethau.
Mae ein gwaith yn canolbwyntio ar rymuso unigolion, cryfhau bondiau cymunedol, a chreu cyfleoedd ar gyfer twf personol a chydweithredol. Diolch i gefnogaeth ein cyllidwyr, rydym wedi gallu gwneud gwahaniaeth ymarferol drwy hwyluso prosiectau ystyrlon, cynaliadwy, ac sy’n cael eu harwain yn lleol.
Cyflwyno Gwerth drwy Brosiectau Cymunedol
Dros y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf, rydym wedi lansio ac wedi cyflwyno nifer o fentrau effaith uchel yn llwyddiannus, gan gynnwys:
- Clwb Ieuenctid, sy’n darparu lle croesawgar i bobl ifanc hyd at 18 oed i gymdeithasu, dysgu a chysylltu â’u cyfoedion.
- Gorsaf Radio Leol, sy’n cynnig adloniant yn ogystal â dysgu ymarferol mewn darlledu, cynhyrchu a siarad cyhoeddus.
- Sinema Gymunedol, gan roi cyfle rheolaidd i bobl ddod at ei gilydd ar gyfer profiadau a sgyrsiau a rennir.
- Sioe Ffasiwn Gymunedol, gan ddangos talentau lleol a dod â phobl at ei gilydd mewn dathliad o greadigrwydd a chydweithredu.
- Cwmni Ffilmio Cydweithredol, gan roi cyfle i unigolion lleol ddysgu sgiliau newydd, gweithio ar brosiectau cydweithredol, a rhannu eu straeon.
Rydym bellach yn gweithio ar ein menter ddiweddaraf i gefnogi oedolion ifanc rhwng 18 a 29 oed, gan eu cynnig cyfleoedd tebyg ar gyfer ymgysylltiad cymdeithasol, datblygu sgiliau, a chynnwys cymunedol, wedi’u teilwra’n benodol ar gyfer eu grŵp oedran a’u diddordebau.
Canolbwyntio ar yr Hyn sy’n Bwysicaf
Mae ein gwaith yn cael ei yrru gan y gred bod y prosiectau mwyaf effeithiol yn dod o’r gymuned ei hun. Yn hytrach na gorfodi atebion o’r brig i lawr, rydym yn ymgysylltu’n uniongyrchol â phobl leol i ddeall eu hanghenion a’u grymuso i arwain mentrau sy’n adlewyrchu eu blaenoriaethau. P’un a yw’n darparu lleoedd diogel i bobl ifanc, yn helpu trigolion i ddatblygu sgiliau newydd, neu’n hyrwyddo cysylltiadau cymdeithasol, mae ein ffocws bob amser ar greu atebion ymarferol sy’n cael eu harwain gan bobl.
Mae ein cyllidwyr yn rhannu’r weledigaeth hon—nid ydynt yn chwilio am brosiectau yn unig, ond am fentrau sy’n darparu canlyniadau go iawn, yn gwella ansawdd bywyd, ac yn helpu i adeiladu cymuned gryfach, fwy cysylltiedig.
Edrych Ymlaen
Wrth i ni symud ymlaen, rydym yn parhau i fod yn ymrwymedig i weithio gyda phobl Machynlleth a’r ardal gyfagos i ddatblygu mentrau sy’n gwneud gwahaniaeth. O ymgysylltu â phobl ifanc i lefydd pwrpasol ar gyfer oedolion ifanc, ein nod yw parhau i gyflwyno prosiectau sy’n cael eu gyrru gan werth ac sy’n cefnogi unigolion a’r gymuned ehangach.
