Retro Fit Re-imagined with Civic Sqaure

Stiwdio Dyfi will be working with Civic Square this weekend to screen two films free of charge as part of the retrofit re-imagined festival at CAT.

First up at 7pm we have a preview cut of Daniel Edelstyn and Hilary Powell's new film POWER

The second film is a locally made film by local filmmaker Will Tremlett about the Tyfu Dyfi Field Scale Crop Trials starting at 8:30pm

This will all take place at the Centre for Alternative Technology Weclome Centre.

But it's not just film screenings, Civic Square have worked with CAT to design a dizzying array of exciting activities which can be booked here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/retrofit-reimagined-at-centre-for-alternative-technology-tickets-732122105927?aff=oddtdtcreator

Civive Sqaure:

"We're excited to spend time together at the Centre For Alternative Technology, continuing this year's Retrofit Reimagined 2023 season as we activate our fourth main festival site in Machynlleth together Saturday 21st - Sunday 22nd October.
Alongside a whole host of incredible speakers and practitioners, we'll explore deep retrofit as a site for addressing the inequalities of wider, interlinked systems, of which our built environment sits at the centre through a range of talks, walks, hands on workshops, round table discussions, displays, screenings and more.
If you're interested in exploring how we rebuild our relationships to land, materials and each other in an immersive way, we urge you to come along and spend time together, with activities for all ages. It is through the interconnections, bonds, flows and entanglements between these three dimensions — of land, material and people — that we present the next layer of enquiry to unpack, in this beautiful backdrop for making, doing, learning and building together."
