Rachel Williams

Rachel is a sociologist, musician and socialist activist. She currently works as a social researcher in education, conducting studies in schools with teachers and pupils. As a singer and songwriter, her music explores themes of mortality, collective trauma and impending climate catastrophe. She has orchestrated a number of fundraising events for causes such as refugee crisis support and Palestine solidarity campaigns and has been a vehement anti-racist and anti-austerity campaigner from a very young age. She can help those in the Dyfi community with anything from events planning and management to proof reading research proposals and brainstorming campaigns.
