Jenő Davies
Jenő Davies, a visual artist and organiser from Carmarthenshire, honed their craft through studies in fine art at Goldsmiths University in London. Post-graduation, they delved into a realm of DIY exhibitions and performance events, collaborating with fellow artists to showcase their work in unconventional settings, including a daring exhibition precariously timed between tides on the banks of the River Thames. Later, Jenő co-founded Twmpath, an arts collective dedicated to promoting and generating queer arts in rural Wales. Their contributions culminated in a notable event at Braich Goch in Corris in 2022. Now based in Machynlleth, they continue to evolve as an artist, focusing on 3D works and film while actively engaging in local collective arts projects.
