Ienctid Mach Youth (IMY)

Ienctid Mach Youth is a youth club catering to local teenagers. It began hosting sessions on the 1st of November 2022 and presently operates once a week, attracting approximately 60 young participants during each session. The inception of this project arose from an escalation in antisocial behaviour, highlighting a distinct necessity for increased local provisions for young people. To date, Ienctid Mach Youth (IMY) has received positive feedback from the attending young people:

During the formative stages of the youth club, Stiwdio Dyfi played a pivotal role as an incubator. This entailed managing the group's finances in its initial phases, facilitating the acquisition of essential start-up funding. This financial support was instrumental as it allowed the group to start running sessions within only a few months whilst the group established itself as an autonomous entity with its own organizational structure and dedicated bank account. Ienctid Mach Youth Community Interest Company (CIC) is now fully established as an independent initiative.

Stiwdio Dyfi CIC takes pride in its modest yet timely contribution to what has emerged as a resounding triumph within the youth demographic and the local community. The work and dedication from the volunteers at IMY is an inspiration and the outcome of a thriving Youth Club a remarkable achievement, long may it continue!
