Digidol Dyfi Digital Get the Green Light!
We are delighted to announce that the project Digidiol Dyfi Digital has been green lit by the National Lottery Communinty Fund. The project has been awarded £9959 to run the rpoject for the next 12 months. For transparency here is what we told the lottery.

Introduction: We are overjoyed to share the remarkable news that our community endeavor, Digidol Dyfi Digital, has triumphed in securing the funding it needs to thrive. This initiative is the brainchild of local individuals and is brought to life through the facilitation of Stiwdio Dyfi CIC. At its core, Digidol Dyfi Digital is all about propelling digital skills, nurturing creativity, and forging stronger bonds within our beloved UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere community.
A Closer Look at Digidol Dyfi Digital: Digidol Dyfi Digital is our collective dream transformed into a tangible project. It's our commitment to providing regualr digital skills actvities within the Dyfi Biosphere where individuals can explore and expand their digital skills, cultivate their creative talents, and, most importantly, connect with one another.
Securing the Foundation: In our initial phase, we're making use of the well-equipped, secure studio space at Y Plas, graciously provided by Stiwdio Dyfi CIC. Yet, we have grander aspirations. Working with Machynlleth Town Council, we're actively exploring opportunities to secure a more permanent, accessible space that better caters to the needs of our local community.
Empowering Through Access: Education and accessibility are at the core of our mission. Once our community members receive training from our dedicated technical staff on utilising the equipment, they'll have the freedom to book slots through the Digidol Dyfi Digital website. This paves the way for everyone in our community to enhance their digital skills and gain a platform for their radio and video projects.
Fostering Community and Culture: Digidol Dyfi Digital is more than a project; it's a space where our bilingual culture can flourish, where debates find a home, and where news can engage with our local community in an accessible and inclusive manner. The interactive features of our internet platform, such as chat and comment sections, will encourage community interaction and connection.
From Local to Global: While we celebrate our local community, we also aspire to showcase the extraordinary creative talents of our local individuals to a global audience. Digidol Dyfi Digital opens doors for our community members to make a global impact while nurturing their local pride and identity.
We are profoundly grateful for the funding that has made this all possible. This project is not just about the present but also the future. It's part of a larger mission undertaken by Stiwdio Dyfi CIC, involving numerous projects designed to maximise their impact on our community. This includes our community cinema, sewing collective, and youth club.
