Eddie Constantine stars as intergalactic hero Lemmy Caution, on a mission to kill the inventor of fascist computer Alpha 60. ‘Jean-Luc Godard had no interest in making conventional movies, and Alphaville, his sole venture into science fiction (apart from the apocalypticism of 1967’s Week End) is no exception.
